Five reviews on Yandex Maps that tell you you're losing money
You open your reviews on Yandex Maps to see what people wrote, in a good mood, nothing to worry about. You scroll down to the older ones and five people have written the same thing in different words. Usually you scroll past without reading, one unhappy person shows up somewhere no matter what.
In my audit I read exactly these reviews for the past year, not one at a time, as a list. Here are five phrasings that show up under almost any business card where a person or an unrestricted bot answers. This isn't a quote from one specific business. It's a pattern that repeats across auto shops, salons, dental clinics, only the details change.
"I booked, they only called back two days later"
By then the person has already gone somewhere else. The request didn't vanish, it just got picked up too late. Ask yourself how many requests like that are sitting there right now and when someone will get to them.
"I wrote in the evening, got an answer only in the morning"
Nights and evenings don't exist for the business, but for the client that's a perfectly normal time to write, especially if they're at work during the day. While you sleep, they've already found someone who answered.
"They booked me and then I wasn't on the list"
Nobody forgot to call back here, something already agreed on got lost. The notebook, the messenger, and the record at the front desk all live separately from each other, and at some point they stop matching.
"I asked the price, got an answer three days later, already went somewhere else"
This is as warm a lead as it gets, the person wrote in themselves asking how much it costs, and the answer arrives after the decision's already been made without you.
"I showed up and the slot was taken, even though they confirmed it on the phone"
Two people are booking into different places and nobody's checking against each other. The client doesn't care in the moment whose fault it is on your end, the business is at fault either way.
What these reviews are actually telling you
Every one of these points to one specific spot where a request stalls and goes nowhere. The review is just saying it out loud instead of you having to find it yourself.
What to look for if you check it yourself
Don't read everything, that takes forever. Open the reviews from the last year and search the page for phrases like "didn't get through," "booked and forgot," "waited," "two days," "called back." Those usually catch it if the problem's there.
Read your own reviews from the past year — usually it's already written down where you're losing. Website and business audit — your site or app address, business name and city, I'll send a written report with a plan.
